How to unlock bootloader on MIUI Roms (officially)

So are you eagerly waiting to root your device? But your bootloader is locked and you don't know how to unlock it. I am here to help you with this.
Requirements
  • Mobile
  • PC
  • USB Cable
  • Unlock Permission
  • Mi Unlock Tool
  • Internet Connection

   Steps for Unlocking are:
  1. Apply for permission here.
  2. Download Mi Unlock Tool after you got permission.
  3. Enable developer options by clicking on MIUI version in About phone.
  4. Goto Additional settings --> Developer options and turn on Enable OEM unlock and USB debugging.
  5. Login to Mi Unlock tool with the same email id/ phone number you have entered in your Mi device.
  6. Boot the device in Fastboot mode by holding Power and Volume down button simultaneously.
  7. wait a few seconds and connect your device to pc.
  8. Once Mi Unlock tool shows your device click on Unlock button.
  9. Say Thanks to me your bootloader has been unlocked officially.
NOTE: IF YOUR BOOTLOADER DO NOT GETS UNLOCKED WAIT FOR 10 DAYS AND RETRY. IT WILL GET UNLOCKED.
ALSO UNLOCK YOUR DEVICE IN 64BIT  WINDOWS ONLY, ELSE IT WILL NOT WORK.
