Hello Tricksters I am back with another post. Many are facing issues in this so I am here to help you.

Introduction

In MIUI 12 we get a new option to manage permissions of the apps. The new option is ALLOW ONLY WHILE USING THE APP. The background access of data has been restricted. So, whenever we try to register our number in Google Pay, it gets registered but when it has to be activated it keeps on saying insert sim card.This is very irritating as we do not know how can we can solve this. But no worries I got got you covered.

How to fix:

1. Download app ops linked below and make sure to use the below linked one.

2. Open the app and grant root permission.

3. Then go to app settings/lab/ enable show hidden ops. 

4. Now go back and search for Google Pay.

5. Open it and allow all the permissions that are denied or set to ask only under other ops. 

6. Abracadabra!!!! And its fixed. Now you can open Google Pay and activate it. You will see that your problem is fixed.
