Welcome dear guests.
Today I am proudly presenting the update of RS ROM for our beloved Redmi Note 3 Pro aka KENZO. The ROM is based on Nougat (7.0). 

The ROM is super stable and can be used as a daily driver. For better and thorough details about the features of this ROM kindly read below. Do spend some time reading the RS ROM features. Its worth reading all that. In the end of the introduction I will say that follow the guide properly and GOOD LUCK.


Requirements: Bootloader must be unlocked ,OrangeFox TWRP recovery, RS ROM, lazyflasher, My Instructions, Patience.

 Installation Process
  1. Download the ROM 
  2. Download LazyFlasher
  3. Move all to your internal memory
  4. Reboot to TWRP
  5. Wipe Data, System, Dalvik cache and Cache
  6. Install the ROM > LazyFlasher
  7. Wipe caches and Reboot system
  8. First boot may take 10 minutes so wait patiently or have a cup of tea
  9. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!
Bugs
  • ViLTE (Video over LTE)
  • Fingerprint scanner will stop after a long call, deep sleep of more than 5 hours
  • FPC users kindly use fingerprint to unlock as by unlocking with face/pin/pattern or password the fingerprint scanner might get unresponsive until reboot
Some important notes

  • When the fingerprint scanner gets unresponsive i.e after a long call / deep sleep / if you unlocked with other methods then use the given app [Quick Reboot] to Restart the SystemUI only , It will work. Currently, its the only workaround. Its better to make its widget and restart UI when required. [Requires Root]
  • Make sure to turn on Fingerprint Unlocking after reboot from Lockscreen Settings. It is very Important.
  • In case you root with Magisk, make sure to flash safety patch to pass safety net test.

    Thank you for this ROM. What is the best magisk for this version, 18.1 gives me always some problems, long wait for or unrecognizable by some apps,from my experience 17.1 works just fine, should I stick to that one or ?

      Thanks for your kind words. And the magisk version. Its purely your wish. I have written 18.1 because its the latest version. You can use v17.1 or v18. No restrictions.
