How to migrate from GBWhatsApp to YoWhatsApp and Vice Versa

Hello Tricksters

I am back with yet another most wanted post. Today I will tell you how to move from GBWhatsApp To YoWhatsApp or Vice Versa. 

You can move from com.gbwhatsapp package to com.yowhatsapp package easily. 

So, without wasting any further time, lets get started.

NOTE: This method doesn't requires ROOT. Yes NO ROOT is needed in this process.

Requirements: GBWhatsApp, YoWhatsApp, MiXplorer, My guide.

Steps to migrate from GB to YoWhatsApp

•  Open your GBWhatsApp and head over to GB Settings and take Backup using option 6.7.

• Download MiXplorer from the link given below.
• Install and open MiXplorer.
• Open GBWhatsApp folder and goto Backup folder.

Make sure to keep the following files shown in screenshots and delete the others.

• After deleting all other files except the one shown in above screenshots.
• Open Files folder and open me file, Open as Text and then Code Editor.

• Now change the package name from com.gbwhatsapp to com.yowhatsapp in me file and save it.

• After this go back and open shared_prefs folder.
• Open registration.RegisterPhone.xml using Code editor like you have done before. Change package name in all lines from com.gbwhatsapp to com.yowhatsapp and save the file.

• pen registration.VerifySms.xml using Code editor. Change package name in all lines from com.gbwhatsapp to com.yowhatsapp and save the file.

• Go back and create a new folder in Internal memory with the name YoWhatsApp.
• Inside YoWhatsApp  create another folder yoBackup and inside it another folder com.yowhatsapp.
• Now open com.yowhatsapp folder and paste all the files and folders from GBWhatsApp Backup folder to this folder.

• Download and install YoWhatsApp having package com.yowhatsapp.
• Open App Settings and give Storage permission to this app.
• Open YoWhatsApp and Click on RESTORE Button
• YoWhatsApp will close.
• Say ABRA KA DABRA and Open YoWhatsApp .
• And VOILA!!!!!!!!! you got migrated from GBWhatsApp to YoWhatsApp.

Another Note

You can migrate from YoWhatsApp to GBWhatsApp in the same way. Just reverse the steps and you can migrate easily.
